Shown above is the opened cardboard foldover packaging for the T18B transistor (also shown for size comparison).  Shown at right is the rear view of the same opened package.  Shown below is a scan of a National Union mailing that was originally supplied to early customers of the T18B.  Note several historically important aspects of the notice, such as the date and the comments relating to “in process” aspects of this very early transistor technology.
