seems to have been very pleased with their line of bright blue, high performance
transistors. Shown above is a pair of
cufflinks, clearly designed to promote this technology. It is likely that the cufflinks were intended
to be used as a sales promotion, and may have actually enhanced the wardrobe
of many of the purchasing agents active in the 1950s electronics industry. The
blue Raytheon transistor technology also made it all the way to the
Smithsonian Museum. Use this link to
