Here are two photos relating to various aspects of Mr. Ollendorf’s early transistor work at RCA. The top photo is from May 6, 1966, showing Joel (second from right) receiving the David Sarnoff Award for Outstanding Achievement. Others in the photo include RCA Chairman David Sarnoff (presenting the award) and Dr. George H. Brown on the far left (RCA Executive Vice President). The photo on the right is from the Feb/March 1957 RCA Engineer magazine showing Joel inspecting the work of a transistor production operator at the new Solid State Division in Somerville NJ. ______________
