Essay Commentary The
Raytheon blue cased transistors were made for approximately five years, from
1955 until the end of the decade.
During that time, millions of units were manufactured, so these are
still relatively common devices and can be found in a variety of places,
including radios and hearing aids of the 1950s, hamfests and online
auctions. Shown above are two
enticing lots of these unique and historic Raytheon devices. Go
